YouTube Prankster Danny Duncan Buys Beverly Grove House

LOS ANGELES (Variety) –Though the strange phenomenon of YouTube celebrity is still considered a somewhat uncharted fringe segment of the entertainment industry — for better or for worse — the reality is that a growing number of young vloggers rake in millions of dollars from merch sales and sponsorships, often out-earning many of today’s popular actors and musicians.
Case in point, Danny Duncan. The 27-year-old Florida native and viral prankster has just shelled out more than $3.5 million for a brand-new luxury home in Los Angeles.
Not bad for a college dropout and former Walgreens employee whose first viral video involved scooting down stairs on a hoverboard . Today, Duncan has more than 3 million YouTube subscribers, 1.5 million Instagram followers, and over a half billion cumulative video views. He also peddles merch […]

Cher’s Former Sierra Towers Condo Listed for $6.495 million

WEST HOLLYWOOD (Los Angeles Times) — The Sierra Towers highrise in West Hollywood has a long history when it comes to celebrities, but this particular condo may take the cake. Once home to movie mogul David Geffen, actor Vincent Gallo and pop star Cher, the residence is on the market for $6.495 million.
That’s $1.245 million more than Cher sold it for back in 2013, The Times previously reported. During her stay, the famed singer-actress decked out the home in a Balinese style that remains to this day.
Perched on the 26th and 27th floors, the unit is the only one in Sierra Towers to span two stories. In 2,300 square feet, it holds two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and a handful of eye-catching living […]

Kylie Jenner Buys $36.5 Million Holmby Hills Estate

LOS ANGELES (TMZ) — Kylie Jenner has just expanded her empire … because TMZ has learned she just bought a massive, new estate in one of the best areas of L.A., with a price tag of $36.5 million.
It’s an interesting move because Kylie’s become something of a land baroness in Calabasas, but this is miles away in the heart of L.A. — Holmby Hills.

The house is 15,350-square-feet and it’s billed as a resort compound. It’s a single-story, modern compound with a dedicated guardhouse. The house has a chef’s kitchen, an outdoor projection screen, home theatre, bars and game rooms, a gym and a championship-level sports court with pickleball/basketball.
The house also has 2 guest apartments, so she’s got ya, Stassi.
Kylie negotiated well … the house was listed at $45 mil.
The seller has a connection to Kylie. He also sold her land in the Palm Springs area where she’s building a home.

YouTuber Emma Chamberlain Buys Snazzy Modern Home From Cannabis King

(Variety) — Last year, cannabis kingpin Andrew Modlin — co-founder of marijuana juggernaut MedMen — paid $11 million for a brand-new mansion in L.A.’s Bird Streets neighborhood, high in the hills overlooking West Hollywood.
And with no longer any need for his “starter” house down in prime WeHo, he soon listed the blocky contemporary structure and recently unloaded it for $3.9 million, the same price he’d paid back in 2016.
The striking home’s new owner is Bay Area native Emma Chamberlain, the 18-year-old YouTube wunderkind who has risen from obscurity to become — in less than three years — one of the world’s top influencers, a relatively new brand of Gen Z-propelled celebrity that […]
