WEST HOLLYWOOD — The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station reports the following incidents for January 20-26.

January 20th
Residential Burglary
800 block Hilldale Avenue
01/20/2020 @ 1745-2150. An unknown suspect smashed a glass door to gain entry and ransacked the interior. A PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and speaker were taken from the living room.

January 21st
Other Burglary
300 block Westbourne Drive
01/21/2020 – 01/24/2020. An unknown suspect forced the rear door open to gain access to the empty residence. The suspect ransacked the interior and appeared to live in the residence for a short time.

January 22nd
Grand Theft
8400 block W Sunset Blvd
01/22/2020 @ 0203. An unknown suspect removed a backpack that was left unattended outside of the hotel. The backpack contained a Rolex watch, medication, phone charger, and Apple watch bands.
 
January 24th
Grand Theft
9000 block Sunset Blvd
01/24/2020 @ 2240. An employee removed 13 bottles of alcohol from a restaurant and attempted to leave the hotel. The suspect was detained by hotel security and arrested by responding deputies.

01/24/2020 @ 0030. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone from the victim’s purse while inside the club.

8500 block Sunset Blvd
01/24/2020 @ 0627. An unknown suspect broke into the key storage box of a valet parking service and took the keys to a vehicle. The suspect drove the vehicle from the lot.

1200 block Crescent Heights Blvd
01/24/2020 @ 2000-2300. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing an electronic nerve stimulator from the front floorboard.

600 block La Peer Drive
01/24/2020 @ 2400-0151. An unknown suspect smashed the front and rear passenger’s side windows and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer and wallet from the back seat.

January 25th
Grand Theft
1300 block Laurel Avenue
01/25/2020 @ 2200-1030. A man removed a laptop computer from the bedroom after being invited into the residence by the victim.
 
Other Burglary
8600 block West Knoll Drive
01/25/2020 @ 1730. Three men reached over the fence to open the gate and gain access to the apartment complex mail room. The suspects removed mail packages from the lobby area.
 
Vehicle Burglary
Sunset Blvd / Kings Road
01/25/2020 @ 0045-0230. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack from the back seat.

01/25/2020 @ 0000-0243. An unknown suspect smashed the passenger’s side window and removed a backpack from the backseat.

1000 block Curson Avenue
11/25/2019 – 01/25/20. An unknown suspect punched the driver’s side door lock to gain access and ransacked the interior.
 
January 26th

8600 block Sunset Blvd
01/26/2020 @ 1130-1430. An unknown suspect removed a wallet, two laptop computers, and cash from the trunk of the unlocked vehicle.
 
Other Burglary
7700 block Norton Avenue
01/26/2020 @ 1308. A man used an unlocked door to gain entry to the garage and began to place items into a bag. A resident interrupted the suspect and caused him to flee from the area without taking anything.
 
Residential Burglary
1100 block Genesee Avenue
01/26/2020 @ 1600-1730. An unknown suspect used an unlocked front window to gain access and removed a backpack, cell phone, sunglasses, and cologne from the interior.
 
Armed Robbery
900 block N Spaulding Avenue
01/26/2020 @ 1345. A woman was talking on her cell phone and walking EB on the N sidewalk of Spaulding Avenue when she was hit on the back of her head with a hard object. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect pulled the victims purse from her shoulder and fled the area on foot.

Residential Burglary, 1100 block La Brea Avenue — A man and a woman used force on the front door to gain entry and then entered a business that leases space in the building. The suspects removed a garage door opener and then forced entry into another business on the second floor and ransacked the interior. #01446

March 12th

Grand Theft, 1000 block La Cienega Blvd — An unknown suspect removed a purse containing an ID, credit cards, and $415 cash after it was left momentarily unattended on a table. #01477

Strong Arm Robbery, 8300 block De Longpre Avenue — A man was inside the bathroom when another man opened the unlocked door and punched the victim several times. The suspect pulled a gold chain from the victim’s neck and then fled the area on foot. #01478

Vehicle Burglary, 7800 block Santa Monica Blvd — An unknown suspect removed a Gucci bag and a purse containing $1800 cash from the back seat. No sign of forced entry. #01474

Vehicle Burglary, 9000 block Melrose Avenue — An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed two backpacks containing a laptop computer, clothing, headphones, and sunglasses from the back seat. #01481

March 13th

Grand Theft (Suspect Arrested), 7100 block Santa Monica Blvd — A woman removed a large number of cleaning supplies, clothing, electronics, and food items and attempted to leave the store without payment. The suspect was detained by store security and arrested by responding deputies. #01494

March 15th

Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested), 1000 block Sweetzer Avenue — A man swung a plastic pipe at the victim while walking on the sidewalk. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #01515

Other Burglary, 8400 block Sunset Blvd — Two men used a partially open door to gain access to the victim’s hotel room and removed a wallet and a handbag containing a cell phone, credit cards, and $300 cash. #01518

03/02/2020 @ 0415. A man was hit in the face several times with a glass bottle by another man during a dispute in the parking lot regarding money.

1200 block N Fuller Avenue
03/03/2020 @ 1200-1600. A woman removed a collectible knife from the residence during a dispute over a late rent payment.

March 4th
Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
8400 block Santa Monica Blvd
03/04/2020 @ 1855. A man cut the victim on the arm with a knife after being asked to leave the store. #01340. The suspect also committed another ADW Knife in West Hollywood shortly after this incident.

Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
8200 block Santa Monica Blvd
03/04/2020 @ 1845. A man stabbed an employee one time near his rib cage while being escorted from the store for trying to steal a tip jar.

900 block N Fairfax Avenue
03/05/2020 @ 0122. Two men pulled a handbag from the victim’s shoulder and fled the area on foot. The handbag contained a cell phone and $3K in cash. #01348

03/05/2020 @ 2045-2300. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a laptop computer and purse from the rear floorboard.

03/06/2020 @ 1815-2130. An unknown suspect pried the balcony door open to gain entry, ransacked the bedroom, and removed jewelry.

03/07/2020 @ 2200-1530. An unknown suspect removed an unsecured bicycle from the sub parking garage of the apartment complex.

Robbery – Armed Carjacking
Carol Drive / Sunset Blvd
03/07/2020 @ 1900. A man was sitting in his parked vehicle when two men approached. The victim was punched several times in the face and one of the suspects pressed a sharp object against the victim’s neck and ordered him to get out of the car. The victim complied.

1200 block Clark Street
03/07/2020 @ 2200-1500. An unknown suspect removed sunglasses and $100 cash from the center console and golf clubs, an IPad, airpods, and champagne from the trunk. No sign of forced entry.

March 8th

03/08/2020 @ 0144. A woman was hit on her head with a glass bottle by another woman during an argument inside the club. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies.

03/08/2020 @ 1400-1200. An unknown suspect removed a vinyl painted sign, $400 cash, and two suitcases from the trunk. No sign of forced entry.
