WEST HOLLYWOOD — The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station reports the following incidents:

January 15th
Vehicle Burglary
8900 block Melrose Avenue 01/15/2020 @ 2030-2315. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a leather backpack containing a laptop computer and two pairs of sunglasses from the back seat.
 
Vehicle Burglary
9000 block Santa Monica Blvd 01/15/2020 @ 2115-2330. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing an IPad, watch, $300 cash, and gift cards from the rear floorboard.
 
January 16th
Grand Theft
700 block West Knoll Drive
01/16/2020 @ 1500. An unknown suspect removed a jacket from the victim’s luggage while at the hotel.
 
January 17th

1000 block N Spaulding Avenue
01/17/2020 – 01/19/2020. An unknown suspect removed a snowboard, snowboard boots, pants, goggles, helmet, and jacket from the rear storage area of the unlocked vehicle.
 
Other Burglary
8800 block Beverly Blvd
01/17/2020 @ 0204. An unknown suspect smashed a glass panel on the rear entry door to gain access and removed an unknown number of women’s purses and wallets.
 
January 18th
Aggravated Assault – Gun
Hilldale Avenue / Dicks Street
01/18/2020 @ 2359. A man and a woman were walking EB on the sidewalk of Dicks Street when a vehicle stopped near their location. A passenger in the vehicle rolled down the front passenger’s side window and yelled at the victims. The suspect then pointed a handgun at the victims while the vehicle slowly drove away. #00351

01/18/2020. An unknown suspect cut the lock and removed a bicycle from the balcony of the residence. #00364

1000 block N Palm Avenue
01/18/2020 @ 1930-0900. An unknown suspect removed four pairs of sunglasses from the driver’s side door and two pairs of sunglasses from the glove box of the unlocked vehicle. The suspect also removed a leather bag containing a weightlifting belt from the trunk. #00362
 
January 19th
Strong Arm Robbery (Attempt)
Hancock Avenue / Santa Monica Blvd
01/19/2020 @ 0130-0140. A man was walking EB on the sidewalk of Santa Monica Blvd when he was approached by two men. One suspect punched the victim in the face and demanded his wallet and cell phone. A struggle ensued but the victim was able to retain his property. No loss. #00357

Armed Robbery
Cynthia Street / San Vicente Blvd
01/19/2020 @ 0400-0405. A man was walking on Cynthia Street when a vehicle pulled to a stop near his location. Three men exited the vehicle and walked towards the victim. The suspects demanded the victim’s money and struck him in the face with a metal bar. The victim fell to the ground and the suspects searched his pockets and removed his passport. #00358

Residential Burglary, 1100 block La Brea Avenue — A man and a woman used force on the front door to gain entry and then entered a business that leases space in the building. The suspects removed a garage door opener and then forced entry into another business on the second floor and ransacked the interior. #01446

March 12th

Grand Theft, 1000 block La Cienega Blvd — An unknown suspect removed a purse containing an ID, credit cards, and $415 cash after it was left momentarily unattended on a table. #01477

Strong Arm Robbery, 8300 block De Longpre Avenue — A man was inside the bathroom when another man opened the unlocked door and punched the victim several times. The suspect pulled a gold chain from the victim’s neck and then fled the area on foot. #01478

Vehicle Burglary, 7800 block Santa Monica Blvd — An unknown suspect removed a Gucci bag and a purse containing $1800 cash from the back seat. No sign of forced entry. #01474

Vehicle Burglary, 9000 block Melrose Avenue — An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed two backpacks containing a laptop computer, clothing, headphones, and sunglasses from the back seat. #01481

March 13th

Grand Theft (Suspect Arrested), 7100 block Santa Monica Blvd — A woman removed a large number of cleaning supplies, clothing, electronics, and food items and attempted to leave the store without payment. The suspect was detained by store security and arrested by responding deputies. #01494

March 14th

March 15th

Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested), 1000 block Sweetzer Avenue — A man swung a plastic pipe at the victim while walking on the sidewalk. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #01515

Other Burglary, 8400 block Sunset Blvd — Two men used a partially open door to gain access to the victim’s hotel room and removed a wallet and a handbag containing a cell phone, credit cards, and $300 cash. #01518

03/02/2020 @ 0415. A man was hit in the face several times with a glass bottle by another man during a dispute in the parking lot regarding money.

1200 block N Fuller Avenue
03/03/2020 @ 1200-1600. A woman removed a collectible knife from the residence during a dispute over a late rent payment.

March 4th
Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
8400 block Santa Monica Blvd
03/04/2020 @ 1855. A man cut the victim on the arm with a knife after being asked to leave the store. #01340. The suspect also committed another ADW Knife in West Hollywood shortly after this incident.

Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
8200 block Santa Monica Blvd
03/04/2020 @ 1845. A man stabbed an employee one time near his rib cage while being escorted from the store for trying to steal a tip jar.

03/05/2020 @ 0122. Two men pulled a handbag from the victim’s shoulder and fled the area on foot. The handbag contained a cell phone and $3K in cash. #01348

03/05/2020 @ 2045-2300. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a laptop computer and purse from the rear floorboard.

03/07/2020 @ 2200-1530. An unknown suspect removed an unsecured bicycle from the sub parking garage of the apartment complex.

Robbery – Armed Carjacking
Carol Drive / Sunset Blvd
03/07/2020 @ 1900. A man was sitting in his parked vehicle when two men approached. The victim was punched several times in the face and one of the suspects pressed a sharp object against the victim’s neck and ordered him to get out of the car. The victim complied.

1200 block Clark Street
03/07/2020 @ 2200-1500. An unknown suspect removed sunglasses and $100 cash from the center console and golf clubs, an IPad, airpods, and champagne from the trunk. No sign of forced entry.

03/08/2020 @ 0144. A woman was hit on her head with a glass bottle by another woman during an argument inside the club. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies.

03/08/2020 @ 1400-1200. An unknown suspect removed a vinyl painted sign, $400 cash, and two suitcases from the trunk. No sign of forced entry.
