The Vagina Monologues Returns to WeHo for Valentines

WEST HOLLYWOOD — The ever popular Vagina Monologues are back. The 4th Annual Production of the Hollywood Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and the City of West Hollywood’s production of The Vagina Monologues comes February 14th and 15th to benefit Hollywood NOW and Planned Parenthood Los Angeles.
Twenty-one years ago, Eve Ensler’s play The Vagina Monologues gave birth to V-Day, a global activist movement to end violence against all women and girls (cisgender, transgender, and gender non-conforming), bringing widespread attention to issues of harassment, rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation, and sex slavery. Every year around the world The Vagina Monologues are performed during the month of February to raise awareness and funds.
The play is directed by Shaina Rosenthal with Assistant Director Karen Eyres and Produced by John Erickson. This year’s cast includes. Toni Sawyer, Connor Kelly-Eiding, Deshon Gray, Myra ‘Mikie” Friedman, Chela Demuir, Minzi, Zekiah Wright, Kristina Mitchell, Marie Cartier, Lindsey Horvath, Gia Ryan, Jackie Steele, Mel Lubey, and Abbe Land!
The event is co-sponsored by the City of West Hollywood, Pacific Shore NOW, V-Day, One Billion Rising – Los Angeles, the City of West Hollywood Transgender Advisory Board, and the City of West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board.

‘Hamilton’ Digital Lottery Offers $10 Pantages Tickets – Mar 10

LOS ANGELES (Beverly Press) — “Hamilton” is headed to the Hollywood Pantages. Theater buffs, history fans and any Angeleno interested in seeing “Hamilton” have the opportunity of winning tickets for the first performance on Thursday, March 12, through a digital lottery.
Producer Jeffrey Seller announced a digital lottery in conjunction with the first show in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre and will begin two days prior to each performance. A select number of tickets will be sold for $10 for every performance.

Trixie Mattel Show at The Novo Los Angeles – Mar 14

LOS ANGELES — Trixie Mattel’s “Grown Up 2020 Tour” will include a date at the Novo in Los Angeles on March 14. The tour celebrates her new album “Barbara” which was released this year.
According to Metro Weekly “With Barbara, she has brought every facet of herself to bear on what is her most quintessentially ‘Trixie Matte’ album yet.”
For those who don’t know, Trixie Mattel is is the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” season 3. The persona is known for her very specific style of contour and eye makeup, among other things.
According to AXS “Trixie Mattel’s Grown Up tour isn’t her first rodeo. Mattel has been on the road for several other tours in the past, but this one will offer a little something special. For the first time, Mattel’s antics will be accompanied by a full band, further growing her dominating present on the stage.”

Jamie Foxx & G-Eazy Deliver Impromptu Performances at Delilah in WeHo

WEST HOLLYWOOD — Jamie Foxx and G-Eazy gave unsuspecting clubgoers a treat when they each delivered impromptu performances in Los Angeles.
We’re told the Oscar-winning actor, 52, jumped on stage at Delilah during its Sunday Jazz Night series and picked up the mic to emcee, adlibbing and singing along to other songs the DJ played.
Despite being what would be a tough act to follow, G-Eazy, 30, followed Foxx’s lead and also gave a spur-of-the-moment performance.
