WEST HOLLYWOOD (Us Weekly) — No wedding registry at the Superstore just yet! Nico Santos says he and boyfriend Zeke Smith aren’t racing to get engaged. “We’re in no rush for that,” the Superstore star, 40, exclusively told Us Weekly at the NBC x Vanity Fair Celebration of the Season event in West Hollywood on Monday, November 11. “But if it happens, great.”
In the meantime, Santos and the Survivor alum, 31, are getting ready to celebrate the holidays. “Zeke and I are hosting Thanksgiving at our apartment, and my mom and my brother are coming down from the Bay Area, and we have a bunch of friends coming over,” Santos told Us . “Zeke is cooking. He’s an amazing cook. And my job is to make sure that people stay away from the kitchen […]
Jay Leno Mocks Jussie Smollett and Lori Loughlin on ‘Real Time’ with Bill Maher
LOS ANGELES (TMZ) — Bill Maher is just the best, even from home!!! He had Jay Leno on Friday night on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” who took aim at Jussie Smollett and Lori Loughlin, and it was hilarious.
Bill asked Jay how the rich folks are faring in Bev Hills, and Jay was quick to answer. We’d tell you what was said, but the video is way funnier.
And Jay has an update on Olivia Jade, who could soon be donning a white smock … for humanity, of course. It’s really funny.
Speaking of Bill Maher, he’s doing his show from home, but it’s produced way better than most other shows. The locations are cool, and he intercuts shots of old TV audiences applauding his jokes. It’s hysterical.
Mister Rogers Told Co-Star Don’t Come Out as Gay, and Marry a Woman
(TMZ) — “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” was no place for gay people … so says one of the stars.
Francois Clemmons, who played Officer Clemmons from 1968 – 1995, says in his new memoir, Fred Rogers got wind of the fact Clemmons was gay, pulled him aside and said, “Franc, you have talents and gifts that set you apart and above the crowd. Someone has informed us that you were seen at the local gay bar downtown. Now, I want you to know, Franc, that if you’re gay, it doesn’t matter to me at all.”
And, then the other shoe dropped … “Whatever you say and do is fine with me, but if you’re going to be on the show as an important member of the ‘Neighborhood,’ you can’t be out as gay.”
Clemmons told People Rogers told him secrecy was the only way … “You must do this Francois … because it threatens my dream,” adding, “I was destroyed. The man who was killing me had also saved me. He was my executioner and deliverer. But, at the same time, I knew that he would know how to comfort me.”
According to Clemmons, whose memoir is titled, “Officer Clemmons,” Rogers also told him the audience didn’t care who he was sleeping with … “especially if it’s a man.”
And, there’s more … according to Clemmons, Rogers urged him to marry a woman, and he obliged. Clemmons married La-Tanya Mae Sheridan. They divorced in 1974 and later Clemmons came out.
He says he forgives the legendary TV host … “Lord have mercy, yes. I forgive him. More than that, I understand. I relied on the fact that this was his dream. He had worked so hard for it. I knew Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was his whole life.”
Ariana Grande Kisses Unknown Dude at Bar in San Fernando Valley
NORTHRIDGE (TMZ) — Ariana Grande walks into a bar is how you’d start a good joke, but this time it’s real and ends with our girl locking lips with a mystery man who might not even be all that famous.
The singer was spotted out late Saturday night at a place called Bar Louie in Northridge — which is in the San Fernando Valley … way on the outskirts of central L.A.
We’re told she rolled into the gastropub around 1 AM with a crew of friends in tow, including this gent you see here right next to her in the booth. They popped in, sat down for a bit, and besides the water we’re told AG wanted … she was just all in on this guy’s face.
As for who this fella might be — it’s unclear. We’re told he wasn’t instantly recognizable though … which means he’s not on Ariana’s level (fame-wise, anyway).
Now, eyewitnesses tell us the group only stayed for around 30 minutes, and while some of her friends ordered wine and other drinks … we’re told Ariana wasn’t boozing.
She was, however, in a chatty mood. Our sources tell us there was a DJ nearby who was actually playing Ariana’s song, “God is a Woman,” right around the same time she was there. We’re told AG asked the guy to switch up the tunes … she didn’t wanna hear her own song.
A couple interesting things about this smooching sesh — for one, it doesn’t look like Social House singer Mikey Foster, who’s been romantically linked to Ms. Grande of late … even though Ariana’s brother clarified there was nothing going on. They hang out a lot, that’s for darn sure.
The second thing … Ariana is apparently a regular in the Northridge area. She was interviewed there for a Vogue article in 2019 and has been seen out and about.
Keep your eyes peeled, valley peeps. AG is on the prowl in your neighborhood.
