One man’s trash is another man’s – punchline? Test that theory when the world-famous Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip conducts a “comedy experiment” on the night of Friday the 13th at 9 p.m.
All that stuff you’ve been saving because it might be “useful” someday? Instead of paying a $10 admission fee, bring along a piece of junk you keep meaning to throw away. Your item may take its place on stage as a prop for the Comedy Store’s “YARD SALE,” offering a clutch of comedians plenty of fodder for unexpected improv hilarity.
Once the comedians conclude their acts, an item will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Performers include Josh Filipowski, Michelle Buteau, Christian Correa and others. So clean out the garage and cruise over to the Belly Room at the Comedy Store, located at 8433 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. You can make reservations at (323) 650-6268.
