Mama June Hits Casino With BF, Looking for Black Friday Magic

Published

on

(TMZ) — Mama June avoided Black Friday shoppers like the plague by hitting up a casino with her boyfriend … and there were still no signs of a family reunion after Thanksgiving.

The troubled reality star — who has apparently hit a rough patch ever since linking up with her man, Geno — was spotted Friday night at Harrah’s Cherokee Hotel and Casino in Cherokee, NC … drink in hand and looking disheveled.

It’s interesting … the last time we saw Mama June, she was in Georgia pulling out cash at a convenience store ATM shortly before Turkey Day. Now we know where at least some of that dough went … we’re told she was hitting Harrah’s slot machines pretty hard.

Mama’s family is still not back in the picture for the holiday season — but, if nothing else, she ain’t broke.

As you know … Mama and Geno have been living outta hotels since unloading her Hampton, GA home for $100,000 cash earlier this year. At one point, June was allegedly shacking up at an Alabama casino.

This is the fourth time we’ve seen Mama in a casino since her March arrest for crack cocaine … and the first time her gambling itch struck in Carolina.

A lot of habits are tough to break.

USC Fires Athletic Dept Officials Tied to Admissions Scandal

USC Fires Athletic Dept Officials Tied to College Admissions Scandal

LOS ANGELES (TMZ) –Heads are rolling in USC’s athletic department over the college admissions scandal and university fundraising — a key part of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’ s defense.

The university just fired 3 officials — CFO Steve Lopes , senior associate athletic director Ron Orr and associate athletic director Scott Jacobson. USC hasn’t said why they were canned, but we’ve confirmed all 3 were heavily involved in fundraising efforts for Trojan athletics.

TMZ broke the story … Mossimo wrote a check for $50k, payable directly to USC. Sources connected to the case told us the check was sent to another athletics director, Donna Heinel, who USC already fired. We’re told the check was sent at the direction of the scandal ringleader, Rick Singer.

Lori and Mossimo contend they were making a donation on the up and up — and for that reason, one of their key witnesses could be former Athletic Director Pat Haden. He talked about his fundraising mission back in 2011, saying the Trojans needed to keep donor checks coming in to “feed the beast.”

Our sources say USC has been handing over documents to prosecutors and defense attorneys in the case — so it’s possible some of those docs turned up new incriminating info about the newly fired officials. We haven’t been able to confirm that.

You’ll recall, Singer requested photos of Loughlin and Giannulli’s daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella, on rowing machines. Prosecutors believe the intent was to make it seem they were avid rowers, eligible for admission as USC Crew team members.

We’re told USC had its antennae up as much 9 months before the indictments of Singer, Loughlin, Giannulli and Felicity Huffman. In fact, Heinel was fired the same day the feds announced the indictments in March 2019.

Sounds like USC is cleaning house. The school’s new Athletic Director, Mike Bohn, was announced in November … after Lynn Swann resigned from the position in September.

Scott Eastwood Busted Trying To Take Down Protesters' Signs

DEL MAR (TMZ) — Scott Eastwood allegedly tried to pull a fast one and pose as a city official while taking down banners protesting a massive development project … but he got caught in the act and it’s all on video.

Here’s the deal … folks in Del Mar, CA are protesting a proposed luxury resort atop 16.5 acres of oceanfront land north of San Diego, and they’re voicing concerns with signs and banners around the town.

Scott showed up to a demonstration Sunday at the Del Mar Plaza, telling protesters he was with the city and ordering them to take down signs and banners … at least according to folks on the ground.

Check out this video … protesters recognize Scott, who is busy screwing with a banner, and tell him they’ve got prior approval to keep the signs up. Clint Eastwood‘s son realizes he’s been outed, and he smirks before hightailing it outta there as people start hurling insults.

It’s interesting … Scott owns a bar and some small businesses in the area, and protesters are under the impression he’s an investor in the proposed resort.

We reached out to reps for the actor … no word back, so far.

Harvey Weinstein Says Stealth Jurors Have Infiltrated His Sexual Assault Trial

NEW YORK (Harvey Weinstein says he’s been had by jurors who are pretending to be impartial when in fact they want him locked up and the key thrown away.

Weinstein’s lawyer, Arthur Aidala , filed legal docs Friday to further support his motion for a change of venue … claiming the 12-person jury was comprised of “stealth jurors” who lied during the jury selection process, claiming they could be clean slates when it came to hearing evidence when in fact they held secret prejudices.

The lawyer cites examples of 2 prospective jurors who claimed impartiality but later revealed their feelings on social media. One wrote, “Goodbye Jury Duty. And goodbye Harvey Weinstein. I hope they convict you on all counts…I was told not to talk about the trial if I was a juror…I don’t know if it’s my past as a lawyer or my past at Disney but I’m free for the next 4 years- unlike Harvey!”

The other prospective juror also took to Facebook, writing, “Ok that was my time on the Weinstein case. Do I get paid? I don’t get up before 5 for free. Harvey you cant [sic] act for sh*t with that walker you made it look like a prize on The Price is Right. Also they’re gonna crucify you.”

The ship, however, has already sailed. The judge denied the defense motion for a change of venue and a 12-person jury has been picked. Opening arguments are set for this week.
