Mac Miller Leaves $11 Million Fortune to Friends and Family

HOLLYWOOD HILLS (TMZ) — Mac Miller ‘s fortune has officially been totaled up — and the guy was worth over $11 million … which will be split among his closest friends and family.

The rapper’s estate filed new legal docs showing Mac’s wealth has been appraised in full at about $11.3 million, including his personal property and cash on hand. A few of Mac’s buddies are going to get a vast majority of his belongings — including LOTS of jewelry and other cool stuff — while his mom, dad and bro will get the rest.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Mac’s trust left special instructions to give Bryan Johnson all of his clothing and electronics, specifically … his TV, laptop, iPads, etc. Another friend named Q Chandler-Cuff is getting more than 20 pieces of jewelry … valued at several tens of thousands of dollars.

His bud, Dylan Rectenwald, will be getting all of Mac’s musical instruments and equipment — MM was a known musician and producer, so he had his fair share of toys, including a $5,000 guitar. He also left a friend named Jimmy Murton his household furnishings.

As for Mac’s family, he left them a whopping $5 million-plus in bank and brokerage accounts — plus whatever else he had to his name.

Mac Miller died of an accidental overdose last year at the age of 26. His death resulted in the arrest of his alleged drug dealer, who the feds say provided him a lethal dose of spiked drugs.

Lily Tomlin to Receive Hand & Footprint Ceremony at TCL Chinese Theatre in April

Published

on

HOLLYWOOD — Turner Classic Movies (TCM) today announced it will honor iconic actress and comedian Lily Tomlin with a hand and footprint ceremony at the world-famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood during the eleventh annual TCM Classic Film Festival on Friday, April 17 .

Tomlin, a Tony, Grammy, eight time Emmy and two time Peabody Award winner, has had a remarkable career starting in the 1960s starring in cinematic classics, television staples and on stage.

“Lily Tomlin’s talent has endured for fifty years because she knows who she is. She’s managed to play broadly drawn roles alongside more nuanced characters without a hint of falseness,” said Ben Mankiewicz, TCM primetime anchor and official host of the TCM Classic Film Festival.

“Not long ago, Tomlin told The New York Times, ‘I wanted people to see the characters as human beings. And see themselves in them, too.’  The humanity she finds in the women she plays has enabled her to transition, seemingly with ease, from groundbreaking work on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In to four Emmy nominations for Grace and Frankie, where she co-stars alongside another seminal artist, Jane Fonda.

There’s a consistent richness to her work, in comedy and drama, as well as on stage in her innovative one-woman show, The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, and on the big screen.

Whether your favorite Lily Tomlin performance is The Late Show, or 9 to 5, or Nashville…wait, I’m not done. Or All of Me, Flirting with Disaster, I Heart Huckabees, or A Prairie Home Companion, you know all of those pictures were made more memorable because Lily Tomlin was among the cast. It’s hard to imagine a more deserving artist to have her hand and footprints cemented outside Hollywood’s signature classic movie house.”

This marks the tenth consecutive year TCM has featured a hand and footprint ceremony at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX. In 2011, Peter O’Toole was the honoree, followed by Kim Novak in 2012, Jane Fonda in 2013, Jerry Lewis in 2014, Christopher Plummer in 2015, Francis Ford Coppola in 2016, Carl and Rob Reiner in 2017, Cicely Tyson in 2018, and Billy Crystal in 2019.

Snoop Dogg Apologizes To Gayle King Over Kobe Bryant Comments

Published

(TMZ) — I WAS DISRESPECTFUL Snoop Dogg is issuing a public apology to CBS anchor Gayle King after ripping her for the Kobe Bryant interview … and he wants to hash things out in private.

Snoop Dogg is issuing a public apology to CBS anchor Gayle King after ripping her for the Kobe Bryant interview … and he wants to hash things out in private.

Snoop just issued his mea culpa to Gayle, saying the way he came at her with a profanity-laced social media rant was out of line.

As you know … Snoop went nuclear on Gayle last week, heavily criticizing her for an interview she did with WNBA legend Lisa Leslie, which included a question and follow up about Kobe’s 2003 sexual assault case.

Now, Snoop admits he was wrong for lashing out at Gayle — who says she’s getting death threats for the Kobe question — and he says he overreacted because he was rife with emotions and angry at her line of questioning.

Snoop says he was just trying to defend Kobe because Mamba can’t defend himself, but he regrets the way he expressed his feelings.

As for why the change of heart … Snoop says his mom gave him some sage advice. He added … “2 wrongs don’t make it right.”

In his initial rant, Snoop called Gayle a “funky dog head bitch” and asked her, “How dare you try to tarnish my motherf***in’ home boy’s reputation, punk motherf***er? Respect the family and back off, bitch. Before we come get you.”

Snoop later backtracked and said he didn’t mean anything as a threat … and now he’s saying sorry and hoping to sit down with Gayle to chat behind closed doors.

Genea Sky, Stripper Who Fell Off 15-ft Pole, Never Wants to Dance Again

Published

on

Genea Sky — the exotic dancer who came crashing down from a 15-foot pole but kept twerking afterward — is taking a page out of the great George Michael ‘s song, “Careless Whisper,” ’cause she never wants to dance again.

Sources close to Genea tell TMZ … she’s telling friends she’s done being a stripper and doesn’t want to dance anymore, because her fall and the injuries she suffered have scared her to death.

We’re told she’s grateful for all her fellow strippers who’ve reached out with comforting messages and shared their own injury stories … it’s made Genea feel like she’s not alone.

Our sources say the painful experience has also inspired Sky to try to change the industry and improve exotic dancers’ lives … but she’s not sure how yet.

The interesting thing is … we’re told Genea’s received a ton of offers from strip clubs and been asked to appear in music vids ever since she unintentionally went viral, but she wants none of it.

Our sources say Genea’s focused on healing up right now after having surgery for a broken jaw … along with her other injuries.

It should be noted — she has made appearances in a couple popular music videos, including G-Eazy‘s “No Limit” remix … so maybe she can get back to that when she’s all better, even if her days on the pole are no more.
