Immersive 'E! True Hollywood Story' Pop-Up Is Coming to L.A.

WEST HOLLYWOOD (Hollywood Reporter) — The biographical documentary series reboot comes to life in a one-day immersive experience by Popsugar and E! on Saturday Oct. 5 on Sunset Boulevard.

Nabbing a dedicated E! True Hollywood Story episode used to be one way to solidify a place in pop culture history — and ahead of the series’ return on October 6, fans can step into the biographical documentary series’ reboot at E! network’s one-day immersive pop-up in collaboration with Popsugar.

Popsugar most recently teamed with BH90210 for its Peach Pit diner pop-up on Melrose Avenue this summer.

'Clueless' pop-up coming to West Hollywood to celebrate film's 25th anniversary

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) — “As if” we needed another reason to stroll down memory lane! A new pop-up restaurant for the ’90s classic film “Clueless” is opening on Santa Monica Boulevard and it’s totally buggin’.

The pop-up, which is appropriately called “As If,” coincides with the film’s 25th anniversary and launches on March 31.

The restaurant will feature “Cher-able” drinks and snacks inspired by the film, along with set recreations and photos of the film’s most memorable scenes.

If You Seek Britney: The Zone, an Immersive Spears Fan Experience, Comes to L.A.

THE GROVE (LA Mag) — What was once a Kmart situated directly across from the Grove on 3rd Street is now a one-of-a-kind pop-up experience catering to pop star Britney Spears’s extremely rabid fanbase.

The building’s facade has been painted a wild shade of purple, and a mural by Rob Prior features two outsize renderings of Spears peering at traffic as it passes by. Inside, Britney’s career (er, through 2008) is laid out across ten rooms themed to the pop star’s iconic music videos, many of which premiered when music television was still a thing.
