Jessica Visits Pizzana in WeHo for Neo-Neapolitan Pizza

WEST HOLLYWOOD (KTLA)– Chef Daniele Uditi was down on his luck when he first moved to Los Angeles from Naples.

His luck changed when he made a pizza for actor Chris O’Donnell. The actor loved Uditi’s pizza so much that he had the chef come over to his home and teach guests how to make his delicious pie.

That encounter allowed Uditi to meet Candace Nelson, the pastry chef behind Sprinkles Cupcakes. Soon, the trio was talking about opening a restaurant which became Pizzana.

After opening his first restaurant in Brentwood, Uditi expanded to West Hollywood, where Jessica recently got to visit and indulge in some delicious Naples cuisine.

New Paradis Ice Cream Shop Opening in West Hollywood Jan 25

WEST HOLLYWOOD (Patch) — A new ice cream shop is opening in West Hollywood. Paradis Ice Cream will open January 25 at 7901 Santa Monica Boulevard.

Paradis, which won L.A. Daily News’ “Readers Best” award in 2019, is originally from Denmark. They first opened a location in California in 2009 in Montrose. The West Hollywood shop will be the twelfth store in Southern California.

“Our delicious ice cream is made fresh by our talented ice cream chefs in our main commissary in San Fernando and sent out to our locations in the morning by our early-rising couriers,” the Paradis press release said.

WEST HOLLYWOOD — Starting today, Tuesday, January 7thShake Shack is launching its limited edition Classic Comfort Menu which will include a trio of shakes – Cookie Butter, Malted Milk Chocolate and Frozen Hot Chocolate – as well as an old favorite, The ShackMeister Burger.

Instead of hibernating this winter, Shake Shack wants to bring people together and celebrate good, delicious and wholesome food, which is why they created the Classic Comfort Menu.

The award winning ShackMeister Burger, which was originally created in 2014 for South Beach Food and Wine Festival, is a spin-off of Shake Shack’s take on onion rings.

A classic Shackburger topped with shallots marinated in ShackMeister Ale and fried until crispy, The ShackMeister is the perfect combo of bitter and sweet. Pro tip! Looking for more shallots? You can add them to either your fries or dog at any Shack — including West Hollywood!
