Case Continues for Man Said to Pose as Rideshare Driver to Rape 7 Women

LOS ANGELES (KHTS) — A Santa Clarita man who pled not guilty to allegations of raping seven women while posing as a rideshare driver in a span of 15 months returned to court for a pretrial conference Wednesday, officials said.
Nicolas Morales, 44, of Santa Clarita, was charged with 27 felony counts for allegedly assaulting seven women in areas throughout Los Angeles County, including Alhambra, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Los Angeles, according to Ricardo Santiago, spokesperson for the District Attorney’s Office.
