Brazil’s President Accuses Leo DiCaprio of Funding Amazon Forest Fires

Published

on

(TMZ) — Leonardo DiCaprio is responding to what sounds like an outrageous accusation from Brazil’s President — that the environmentally-conscious actor paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to burn down the Amazon Forest.

President Jair Bolsonaro made the claim twice on Friday — once on Facebook Live, and again during a political rally — calling out Leo for funding an organization accused starting last summer’s devastating fires that scorched well over 7,200 square miles of the Amazon.

The Prez was echoing the words of his own son, who on Thursday, claimed on Twitter DiCaprio donated $300,000 to “the non-governmental org.” that allegedly set the fires.

He also accused the World Wildlife Fund of paying for pics of the burned-out forest.

Leo released a statement saying the accused group is “working to save [Brazil’s] natural and cultural heritage” … but added he did NOT fund the organization.

Leo has, however, worked with WWF since 2010 when they joined forces to save a species of tigers that were on the brink of extinction.

It should also be noted he pledged $5 million to help fight the Amazon fires.

Antonio Brown Throws 'Bag of Dicks' at Baby Mama in Florida

FLORIDA (TMZ) –Another bizarre police incident at Antonio Brown ‘s Florida home — this time, cops responded after a dispute with his baby mama … and it turned VERY nasty.

We’ve reached out to cops to find out exactly why they were called to the home — and who made the call. But, here’s what we know so far …

Several Hollywood Police Dept. officers arrived at Brown’s home around 10 AM local time on Monday … and Brown’s baby mama, Chelsie Kyriss, was there too. They have 3 children together.

Brown repeatedly told the officers he had previously evicted her from his home — but allowed her on the property so she could pick up her kids and take them to school. But, Brown claims during the handoff, Chelsie tried to steal one of his cars — and he wasn’t having it.

At one point, AB screams at Kyriss … “Bitch, you don’t drive Bentleys. This is not your life.”

Brown was shouting to the cops that he wanted her off his property, ASAP — and screamed insults at her from across the street … in front of her kids.

The whole situation was super heated, with a very frustrated Brown cussing at the officers — telling them they don’t know how to do their jobs.

During the end of the exchange, Brown grabs a bag of gummy candies (shaped like penises) and throws them into the street in Chelsie’s direction … screaming at her to have a “bag of dicks.”

All the while, AB is screaming insults at her … “Take that fish-looking bitch to jail.”

Brown also acknowledges that the stand-off isn’t the best look for his NFL future — but says, “F**k the NFL. This is real life.”

We’re reaching out to cops to find out what the hell they’re going to do about this. Stay tuned.

Amber Heard Uses American Sign Language at Women’s March

Published

LOS ANGELES (TMZ) — Amber Heard is about as talented and passionate as they come, which was on full display this weekend during the Women’s March … where she showed off her ASL.

The actress was one of many celebs who showed up in L.A. Saturday for the fourth annual event — which got started back in 2016 when President Trump was elected. Amber got on stage at one point and gave a heartfelt speech about her role in the fight.

Check it out … while she never outright says his name, it sounds like some of what she’s talking about here might be touching on her marriage to Johnny Depp … which ended in a long, nasty legal battle where allegations of lies and abuse were made.

After talking to the crowd, Amber shared a sweet moment with a fan on the ground … who spoke to her in sign language. Turns out, she’s fluent in ASL — and it definitely shows.

BTW, we also got Amber arriving in an SUV and asked about her injured foot — which has been straddled with a brace for a few weeks now after a trip to Hawaii. She joked sharks had gotten a hold of her, and when we asked if she was serious … she shot a knowing look.

It also appears she’s moved on to a new significant other in the new year … cinematographer Bianca Butti, who had Amber by the hand as they made their way into the festivities.
