WEST HOLLYWOOD — This year Halloween falls on a Thursday and the annual West Hollywood Carnaval starts at 6:00 pm and runs to 11:00 pm.

Per the local tradition, it takes place on Santa Monica Boulevard between N. Doheny Drive and La Cienega Boulevard. Each year, our Halloween Carnaval is one of the largest and most unique Halloween gatherings in the world.

Staged over a one-mile stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard/Historic Route 66, the Halloween Carnaval will feature incredible people-watching for a one-of-a-kind festival.

Halloween Carnaval was launched in 1987 and is rooted in the foundation of the City of West Hollywood’s diverse culture and community. The event has grown year-by-year into an annual gathering of phenomenal costumes, entertainment, culture, and self-expression with a myriad of observers, revelers, exhibitionists, and performers.

This event is open for all to enjoy, but children and pets are not recommended.
