SPA 7 has joined the Equinox family, completing the full-service beauty trilogy of Fitness Club, Day Spa and now Medical Spa while delivering on the tagline “It’s not fitness. It’s life.”
SPA 7’s medical team is headed by Azita Simoni, M.D., specialty trained at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, board certified in dermatology, and complimented by Registered Nurses experienced in cosmetic procedures. Clients, including notable celebrities, can now complete their physical transformation with laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation procedures, and VASER® Shape non-surgical cellulite reduction and body contouring.
February 7, 4:00 to 9:00pm is the official launch with a VIP Private Event Night hosted by SPA 7 and EQUINOX, providing complimentary paraffin hand treatments, foot reflexology, mini facials, massages, chiropractic assessments by Active Body Chiro-Care, and laser and body contouring consultations with SPA 7’s medical team, plus refreshments and giveaways at the West Hollywood location, 8590 Sunset Boulevard. Limited space available, RSVP by emailing email@example.com.
According to Azita Simoni, M.D., “SPA 7 not only offers the most innovative procedures, from Photo-Facial/IPL, Laser 360(TM) to Medical Body Contouring MC-1, but clients also reap the benefits of complimentary Equinox full gym and spa facility access the day of their treatment, including group fitness, yoga and boxing classes, cardio and strength equipment, locker rooms, and private Spa sundeck.” SPA 7 is rolling out in multiple Equinox locations, starting with West Hollywood then Century City.
The trilogy of services follows the trend of medical spas leading spa growth with services increasing over 30% per year and approaching a $20 billion industry. This is primarily thanks to baby boomers, with an increasing number of X and Y generation clientele who start preserving their youth early. This follows the downward trend of surgical treatments due to the improvement of non-invasive techniques, including decrease in recovery time.
SPA 7’s founder, Richard Penfil, M.D., recognized this trend as a partnership opportunity with Equinox. “The convergence of the spa industry with the medical industry has resulted in the most effective medically approved and administered cosmetic services offered, with the least amount of treatment and recovery time needed,” said Penfil. “We are helping Equinox continue its position as industry leader by leveraging more sophisticated and complete medical approaches to beauty and overall wellness.”
