Two Armed Robberies on Melrose Avenue

Los Angeles Police responded to at least two armed robberies on Melrose Avenue around 2:30am, which appear to be connected.

Both were armed robberies using a steel revolver, with the suspect driving a white Chevrolet SUV.

The suspect in the incidents was described as a black male, about 20 years old, 5’8″ tall, with short braided hair.

Apparently the first robbery took place at Melrose and Mansfield at about 2:30AM, and immediately after that, another robbery was committed just one block away at Melrose and Citrus.

Property taken included cash and credit cards.
