A car overturned in a collision with another vehicle on Curson just north of Fountain Ave on Friday.  The collision occurred just after 1PM on Friday afternoon.

Witnesses at the scene just after the accident said that it appeared there were no serious injuries .  An airbag deployed in at least one vehicle.

No details were available about how the accident occurred.   Some speculated that one of the drivers may have ignored the “Right Turn Only” sign at the intersection facing cars on Fountain.

Traffic was minimally impacted on Fountain, with one westbound lane closed for emergency vehicles.  However traffic was still moving fairly well in both directions after the crash.

This doesn’t surprise me. I constantly see cars ignoring the Right Turn Only signs on Curson and Fountain. That intersection has been crash alley for years.
