This year’s event is the 9th annual festival and runs from June 6-11, 2011. The fest will feature more than 80 comedy workshops, as well as improv and sketch comedy shows on three stages at the iO West Theater in Hollywood all week long.

Kinsey and Flannery are both alums of iO West. The two will perform on June 8 at 8 p.m. in the theater’s famed “Armando” show.

“The Armando” was named Best Improv in Los Angeles in 2010 by CBS Los Angeles. In the show, a celebrity guest(s) tells personal stories based on audience suggestion, then iO’s improvisers – the best in LA – perform based on the stories. Past guests of the show include the cast of “The Office,” Drew Carey, Ed Helms and many more.

Performers at this year’s fest include Joel McHale and the cast of NBC’s “Community,” “Arrested Development”‘s Jeffrey Tambor, “Parks and Recreation”‘s Adam Scott, “The Middle”‘s Neil Flynn, Drew Carey, “Saturday Night Live”‘s Paul Brittain, Broken Lizard (“Super Troopers”) and many more.

The iO West Theater is located at 6366 Hollywood Boulevard and features a full bar. Mainstage shows are 21 and up. Parking is available at theater for $5 with validation.
