It’s been a bit quiet on the West Hollywood celeb scandal for the last few weeks but this morning, on top of the news of Michael Lohan’s arrest for domestic violence, our friends at TMZ are reporting on another concerning incident involving Chris Brown, who recently purchased a penthouse condo on Fountain Ave.
TMZ says that police were possibly called to the Good Morning America studios in New York City this morning after Brown was said to have taken a chair and smashed a window in his dressing room. He was then seen storming out of the studio without a shirt.
He apparently became enraged after on-air questions regarding his legal trouble stemming from a domestic violence incident with girlfriend and fellow singer Rihanna. Brown repeatedly tried to change the subject back to his new album, but the interviewer was persistent (see the video below).
Brown was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats in the domestic violence incident in 2009. He pleaded guilty to a felony and accepted a plea deal of community labor and five years’ formal probation. Domestic violence counseling was also part of the deal.
Since Brown is on probation, this new incident at Good Morning America could spell extra trouble for him if charges are filed.
