A death investigation is underway tonight on Sweetzer near Fountain. No details are currently being disclosed by the the Sheriff’s department, however neighbors are aware that a person was found dead inside an apartment.

The fire department responded to the scene first, just after 8PM, followed by the Sheriff. Fire and rescue personnel have left the scene but it appears that Sheriff’s deputies are completing extra investigation do determine if the death was natural.
Sometimes this is simply done out of an abundance of caution, however it looks like we’ll have to wait for the Sheriff to comment.
