There are at least two different reports of men with knives going on around the eastern side of West Hollywood and into Hollywood.  The incidents do not initially seem to be related as the clothing descriptions do not match.

West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies were on the scene at Santa Monica Blvd and La Brea where a man was reported to have threatened another person with a knife.  The incident occurred at about 8:10pm.

The suspect was described as a male, about 20 years old, 5’11″, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a red polo shirt and white shorts.  Last seen direction was westbound on Santa Monica Blvd driving in a black Acura Integra.

Another incident was reported about 8:25 at De Longpre and Las Palmas in Hollywood where a man was waving a knife at people in the area. The man was wearing a black shirt and jeans, and was last seen westbound.

The Hollywood suspect was reportedly pepper sprayed in that incident or nearby by another person.
