The triple homicide in West Hollywood on Kings Road was just the latest bout of violence related to medical marijuana.
Park La Brea News reports today that a grieving father whose son was murdered at a Hollywood medical marijuana dispensary in June has asked for help in finding the killer, and the City and County of Los Angeles are offering a $55,000 reward for information.
According to the report, Chief David Doan, head of detectives for the LAPD, said that dispensaries fit a profile lucrative to criminals of having valuable merchandise and large amounts of cash on hand in explaining why they are the target of robberies.
