The suspect in the Kings Road triple homicide last week, Harold Yong Park, was to be arraigned today at the Beverly Hills Courthouse on three counts of capital murder.
He was also charged with robbery, burglary and transporting marijuana for sale, according to LA Weekly.
The Associated Press also has a report that says investigators have obtained a confession from the man. (This is the first we’ve heard about a confession so we will be looking for further confirmation on this.)
As outlined in a previous report, Lt. Pat Nelson of the Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau has made extensive comments to media outlet about the theory that the murders were a case of a robbery gone bad, and that the suspect was after medical marijuana that the victims may have been attempting to sell to him for illegal street distribution.
