As our nonexistent SoCal summer winds down, so does the Viper’s Tuesday night rock series It’s Free F*ckers! Celebrate your last taste of freedom with Sergio Ristie, Daybreak Ends, Stimulator and Big High. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and as the name so eloquently suggests, It’s FREE F*CKERS. www.viperroom.com

Wednesday, Sept. 1 Hustler Hollywood and the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) will host the Freedom Party at the world famous Whisky A-Go-Go. This event fundraiser will feature appearances by all your favorite adult film stars including 2010 AVN Actress of the Year Kimberly Kane, Playboy Radio ‘Night Calls’ hostess Nicki Hunter and industry legends Nina Hartley and Ron Jeremy. As if that wasn’t enough, the first 200 guests will receive a drink ticket, courtesy of Hustler Hollywood, and all guests will receive a goody bag, loaded with naughty treats. Red carpet for the Freedom Party starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and will benefit the FSC. Contact the Whisky for further details.

Flashback to the ‘80s with Wang Chung on Thursday, Sept. 2. Fortunately, you won’t have to “drive a million miles,” just head to the Key Club as legendary KROQ DJ Richard Blade hosts a night that will also feature ‘80s kitsch sensation Boys Don’t Cry. Friday, Sept. 3 return to the Key Club for death metal mainstay Bleeding Through. Having toured with the biggest names in metal, these O.C. heroes make a quick L.A. pit stop as they embark on yet another international tour. Head to The Roxy Theatre for Russian import Mumiy Troll on Saturday, Sept. 4. Taking the U.S. by storm, this indie rock buzz band has been grabbing more headlines than deported Russian spies.
