With all the cupcakeries and other baked treat options around town, it is sometimes hard to keep track of them all.
The Buttercake Bakery up on Sunset Plaza does not face the street so it can be especially easy to miss. (It’s behind Chin Chin.)
The Blackburn + Sweetzer blog over at Mondette stopped by the other day and has a short review of the visit. To summarize, they say “moist and yummy!”
It’s interesting to hear that they have mini cupcakes for only 75 cents each. That’s quite a bit cheaper than the $30+ dozen that Weho Daily walked out of Magnolia Bakery with a few weeks ago.
I can’t tell from the photos how “mini” the mini size is, but they don’t seem to be terribly small. And you can get 4 of these mini’s for less than the price of one regular cupcake at Magnolia! The menu for Magnolia says that they have minis as well, but it looks like a dozen comes in at $18, or twice the price of Buttercake Bakery’s minis.
