West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene around La Brea and Santa Monica Blvd seeking a robbery suspect.
The property obtained included CD’s and DVD’s from in or around the Target store. The likely reason that they are investigating the incident as a robbery is because of the value of the merchandise, and possibly the way in which he took the property.
He reportedly took the merchandise and stuffed it in his waistband and fled the store.
A witness met up with the Sheriff at Poinsettia and Santa Monica Blvd, perhaps following the suspect there or ending up at that location while searching the area.
There was no sign of the man in the first several minutes of the investigation by deputies, but they found a man who removed a shirt near the Carl’s Jr. restaurant parking lot, and he looked suspicious and nervous.
Several units descended on the scene to detain the man for an investigation.
