Sheriff’s deputies and fire department personnel responded to Sierra Bonita today on a report of a drunk Russian man who was trying to set fire to something.

It apparently was at the home of the man and his family, located on Sierra Bonita between Santa Monica Blvd. and Romaine St.

The dispatcher said, “the father is [intoxicted] and locked himself in the bathroom, starting a fire.”

Weho Daily reader Ian Ryerson was near the scene and snapped some pictures of a shirtless man being brought out of the location and put into the back of a Sheriff patrol car.
