A 23-year-old man entered a not guilty plea today to charges of murdering his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, who was the son of filmmaker Fuminori Hayashida, outside the victim’s Beverly Hills home.

The girlfriend entered a not guilty plea on Friday.

Scott Joseph Barker is charged along with 20-year-old Chie Alexandra Coggins Johnson, in last week’s stabbing death of Katsutoshi Tony Takazato.

Takazato was found dead about 6 a.m. last Tuesday outside his home in the 1800 block of Carla Ridge in the exclusive Trousdale Estates area.
