We mean no disrespect to the ailing Zsa Zsa Gabor tonight, but thought some of you might like to see the booking photo we just happened upon from the incident where she famously slapped a Beverly Hills Police officer.

On June 14, 1989, Gabor was accused of slapping the face of an officer named Paul Kramer when he stopped her for a traffic violation.
She was sentenced to 72 hours in the El Segundo Jail.
She talks about the incident on the clip below from the Donahue Show, towards the second half, after telling a woman how stupid and jealous she was of her in the first half.

I remember the incident well, it was a media circus and the “Prince” had a field day parading around the Beverly Hills courthouse in front of the media. You’d think it was his trial.
Hard to believe it was 21 years ago. I have a great picture taken with Zsa Zsa in 1991, taken at CBS. She is ravishing in all pink, among the best pictures I have seen of her since. I think Zsa Zsa added a unique flavor to “show biz” and is irreplaceable. No matter how glamorous and illustrious a life is, old age does not discriminate and is never pretty. Zsa Zsa’s departure will mark the end of Hollywood’s most glamorous era.
