KNX Radio today reported the arrest of three people in connection with the fatal stabbing that occurred in the hills yesterday morning.
The arrests were for theĀ stabbing death of Katsutoshi Takazato, 21, in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills, between Laurel Canyon and Coldwater Canyon.
Lt. Sean Davis tells KNX radio that three people were arrested Wednesday morning after detectives worked around the clock on the case.
Their identities weren’t immediately released and there’s no immediate word on a motive for the killing.
Beverly Hills Patch reports that Takazato lived at the multi-million dollar mansion on the 1800 block of Carla Ridge where the crime occurred, said L.A. County Coroner’s Lt. Cheryl MacWillie. The home is owned by Fuminori Hayashida, who produced several films in the 1990s, including Lured Innocence and No Strings Attached.
Beverly Hills Patch continues to quote BHPD as saying they are well equipped to handle homicide investigations with a highly trained staff that is not strained by a high number of such cases in the city.
