West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene near Beverly and San Vicente at Guys and Dolls nightclub where gunshots rang out, hitting multiple victims.
The incident occurred at about 2AM at located at 8713 Beverly Boulevard, West Hollywood.

A valet was killed, and a man and woman were also wounded, according to media reports. One report said that there were victims in both the front and rear of the club.
A witness at the scene said that one of the victims may have been a worker at the club. Family members later confirmed to KNX radio that it was a valet at the club was killed.
ABC7 said that the valet was killed in front of his wife and 15 year old son, who were working with him at the club last night. He has now been identified by the Coroner as Luis Comargo, says the Los Angeles Times.
We believe that at least two victims were transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center, just across the street, and one to Olympia Midway. Sheriff’s deputies from West Hollywood were sent to both hospitals to collect information about the victims and to monitor their conditions, which were not immediately known.
Multiple witnesses reported that the suspects fled in a dark colored Rolls Royce or Bentley, though the Sheriff was also talking about it possibly being a Monte Carlo. The latest we have heard is that they are leaning toward it being a Rolls or Bentley.
The vehicle took off southbound on Robertson or Doheny and was last seen towards Olympic, with the vehicle being followed for a short time by a witness to the shooting. West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies were fanned out around the area within seconds after the report and last sighting, including at Wilshire and La Cienega, and Doheny and Pico.
The suspects were initially described as two black males (we will try to fill out that description more as we sort things out).
One person at the scene said that the incident happened after someone tried to grab a chain from another patron, then that person was chased and shot, but this has not been confirmed.
Guys and Dolls is a popular, high end nightclub often attracting a celebrity crowd. There was a group fight involving 10 to 15 people just on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
As reported by LAist and a commenter to this article below, there has been controversy about the establishment’s business license with the City of West Hollywood. The city issued a statement this morning saying that such violence will not be tolerated, hinting at a crackdown on club owners.

They need to shut down Guys and Dolls for good now! It is defacing up our neighborhood with street trash! Dominick’s and Jerry’s are respectable places. We do not need this violence in this part of town. They can stay on the East side. The girl talking on the tape is disgusting. She has NO sympathy for the people who were shot and the one who was killed. This is a tragic story.

I live nearby, and am frequently out in the neighborhood at night. The LASD has *frequently* had patrol cars parked in front of Guys & Dolls, just watching the crowd. No fault of the Sheriff’s Department that this happened — they’ve clearly been aware of the possibility, and have worked to prevent it. This place is just a shithole.
