On July 11th 2009 The Viper Room, The Andaz Hotel, The Roxy and The Comedy Store met for the first time at Tweetcrawl one.
Fast forward one year and holy schneikes, what a different beast we have.
We have had dozens of businesses on The Strip and amazing partners like PBR and 98.7 participating in four different Tweetcrawls, A trip to Austin for SXSW, and various cross promotional events all using social media as the vehicle for the message.
Now, we’d like to celebrate with a Birthday Party!
Swimming Pool at The Standard on the Sunset Strip
Join all your Strip friends as we throw The Social Strips’ 1st Birthday Party/Tweetup at The Hollywood Standard Hotel Pool.
Bring your suits, your sunscreen, and your portable devices (Just don’t bring them into the water), because your favorite venues will be tweeting from the event and giving out prizes as always.
- Viper Room will be handing out free tickets to shows
- PBR will be present with some sweet prizes
- The Comedy Store will be handing out free passes and new t-shirts
- The Standard will be giving away a free night’s stay to the winner of the ping pong tournament!
- They will also have $4 PBRs and Sunsetters Special (a cicchetti and drink for $10!) going til 5.
- Citysearch will be supplying birthday cake!
