A 55 year old Russian speaking woman with Alzheimer’s was separated from her caregiver Monday evening at Plummer Park in West Hollywood.  She was last seen at 5pm, and due to her mental impairment and age, the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department was called in within the hour.

Deputies set up a command post in the park and canvassed the area on foot and car.  A helicopter was called in at 6pm to assist in the search.  Family members also came to the scene.

The missing woman was located on Sweetzer near Fountain around 7:30pm when a concerned citizen reported a woman wandering in and out of the street and into a parking garage to the Sheriff’s Department.
